Last Week in Photos #7: Still Winter

Remember how last time Winter was coming back? Well… after some days of really really hot weather, Winter decided to stay and it snowed again. But the ugly part was the wind and the cold and… the fact that it all happened during the weekend!!

Last week  I discovered an awesome tea sent by a pen-pal. It was delicious! I started watching Wrestling again (and it’s addicting, again) and I am just in time for Wrestlemania! YES!

I re-organized the closets and I discovered an old favourite of mine: my super warm red sweater. Didn’t dare to put in the box with the other Winter clothes because I didn’t have the chance to wear it this Winter and since we had some cold weather I enjoyed it!!

I started learning Japanese again and this time I focus on writing too and right now I try to learn Hiragana while not falling behind with the drawings for school (for the comics class we have to draw some psychological test and we aren’t supposed to know the signification of the elements, but I already know the test…).

We spent the weekend with friends and cooked some delicious stuff and we played Silent Hill games and watched a Korean horror movie. I know there is no cat in the photo-set so here’s some Mogu for you:

We spent a lot of time with the cats these days because it’s that lovey-dovey time for them so we get to see new male cats. They aren’t friendly but they are funny to watch while they try to conquer Fluff’s heart. Also, Rice Hunter is now super friendly and has a lot of energy – we spent almost an entire day petting him.

Since school hasn’t started yet I spent my days re-watching Chuck and drinking tea. On Friday we were invited to have lunch with Matt and Bianca – she cooked for us some Japanese recipes (tempura and teriyaki chicken) and Matt made me some coffee in a Harry Potter mug! I rarely drink coffee but when we first met I was drinking coffee like crazy.

We had a Pizza day this week – we have one like once a month or so. We spent our weekend working on our D&D characters and we did play a little bit. My character is an elf called Morgaine Darkbloom who is an wizard. I love her!

Last Week in Photos #01

Since I got my awesome camera from Jamie Oliver, I decided to do one of my favourite types of blog posts: Week in Photos! I love reading them and I loved writing them on my makeup&beauty blog. I did them on Sunday as most of the bloggers I read do, but since Sunday is busy with Otaku Sunday, I am going to do them on Monday – like this I will have time to include whatever awesome things might happen on a Sunday night (there’s usually nothing awesome happening but you never know).

Santa mug | 1st Harry Potter book | a scarf my boyfriend’s mom made for me
pears compote | delicious Chinese food | eating Chinese food
current favourite tea | an organized desk | Winter

I drank a lot of green tea (especially the Tess Green Tea with Lime that you can see in the pictures) and that is unusual for me since I often drink more black tea than green tea, but since school is over (and I only had four exams that week) I just didn’t feel the need for green tea. We got a package with food from my boyfriend’s mom – a lot of jam and compotes and a surprise for me: a super cool handmade scarf!

I reread Harry Potter and I felt wonderful – it’s a great feeling to reread something that means so much to me and through Harry Potter I met one of my best and dearest friend, mih. We ate Chinese food: a delicious hot and sour soup and fried rice with beef and onions, chicken and bamboos and Chinese mushroom and chili pork! Heaven on Earth!

And yesterday (or the day before) I cleaned and organized my desk and now it’s a pleasure to type at it (might even do a post just to show you how proud I am of my work). The weather was crazy: it couldn’t decide between Winter and Spring, but I still prefer Winter and right now Winter it is.
